How to learn to cast a fly
Fly casting lessons cover the basics of casting.
Laurent Charenton shares with you the first secret of fly casting, by teaching you how to work on the position of the rod, to ensure an efficient energy transfer and to play on the combination of the spring and lever effect.
You will be able to:
– Practice casting with the correct arm movements, flexible and relaxed, focusing on the position to feel the pure sensation of fly casting forwards and backwards. (False-casting and double-haul casting).
– Work on the formation of the loop for a perfect trajectory and delicate presentation of the fly.
